4.5 minutes for the Niners, who also have several more picks in the second and third rounds.
Goodell just invited Quinn to My lsaa "private suite" so we don't have to see him cry. Classy move by Goodell, who knows that (without trades) the earliest Quinn will go is No. 13.
Keyshawn says he would like Carolina to pick up Quinn if he fell to 14.
1.5 minutes.
Quinn falling is obviously the story of the draft thus far. This dwarfs everything. You have a guy who was the assumed No. 1 for the entire college football regular season, and who knows where he goes now?
Clock is stopped. Indications are that the Niners will go with Patrick Willis. And they do.
My lasting memory of Patrick is him playing with a cast for several games. He's really tough. I don't see him ever being a superstar, Ray Lewis/Brian Urlacher type, but he'll be really good for a while. Solid.
Buffalo has roughly 11 minutes left. They need a RB, but Marshawn Lynch would be a bit of a reach here. I think they go defense.
Man, I really wish Atlanta had gotten Levi Brown. They really needed a DE, though.
9 minutes. The pick, in my opinion, should be Leon Hall. He's a pretty good value at No. 12, and the Bills need a corner after losing Nate Clements to free agency.
Clock stopped. Bruce Smith will announce it, and they'll take Marshawn Lynch. Not bad.
