Sal Paolontonio just said that the Lions are asking for both of Tampa's second round picks, and that's too high for the Bucs. Seems like a HUGE game of chicken. Somebody's going to make a huge mistake.

Here's the pick.

And the Lions take Johnson! OK. If the Lions keep Johnson, that could become the best 1-2 WR combo in the NFL with Roy Williams. They can grab Trent Edwards in the second round and I would be OK with that as a Lions fan.

Cleveland is on the clock. I say take Quinn. I think they will pick Quinn, Joe Thomas, or Adrian Peterson.

Greatest ad of all time! Steve Spurrier answers the phone and says:
Yeah, this the head ball coach.
He ran a what? I told you he could really run.
Yeah, click-clack.

What??? I love those ads. And he was completely serious, and it sounded so comical in his THICK Southern accent. Must be seen.

5 minutes left for Cleveland.

The time has stopped. Do they have their pick? Yes.

And the pick is Joe Thomas!

This means that Quinn and Peterson, unless there are trades made could fall to No. 7 at Minnesota. Peterson could go to Arizona, but Quinn will definitely go no higher than 7.

This kills Arizona fans, who thought Thomas might fall into their laps.

Does this mean Cleveland is OK with Frye or Derek Anderson?
